We are having a January thaw this weekend...The girls are bumming they like the snow, and Katlin isnt happy that we wont let her out on the pond to skate. But it is not safe....
We've been feeding the birds all winter and we have gotten quite a few at our feeders along with some squirrels in the corn we put down. I havent seen any bunnies but I see a TON of bunny tracks so we know we are out there nibbling too. Last weekend we put some corn out for the deer to eat out between the pond and barn. Then one evening at dusk Chad was walking out to the barn and there were 4 deer eating. We are now working on moving the pile of deer corn closer in to the house so we can see them from the windows. The girls will really like seeing them. Now we just have to keep the wild critters from eating us out of house and home!!!

How neat! When we lived in these apartments when we first moved to MI, we saw deer so closeup. My oldest DD LOVED it. It was definitely the nestest experiences! :)
