Visiting

Last weekend we went back to TC to visit. We spent the weekend with Grammie, had some friends over to visit and also went to see Uncle Mike & Aunt Sandy (although the girls were more excited to see Bruno you'll see why!)
We got there Friday before Grammie got home. When she got home from work and Keira caught sight of her she just screamed grammie and ran to her. She then got VERY mad at me cuz I scooped her up and held her so mom could get off her coat, boots, and gloves. MY the fight I had on my hands with her trying to get away from me to go see Grammie. After all she hadnt seen her in 2 1/2 weeks. Katlin waited til Keira was done then she attacked grammie for her hugs and kisses. We had a fun night playing and eating pizza.
On Saturday the girls stayed inside playing with grammie while I braved the single digit temps to go out and snowblow the driveways for mom. The after lunch Katlins bestest buddy Devin came over with him mom. Silly me forgot to get the camera out to get any pictures of Katlin and Devin. She just has so much fun with him, and he is such a great kid. You wont find many 13 1/2 year old boys who would willing come spend several hours playing with a 4 1/2 year old. He had just come from his guitar lesson so he brought in his electric guitar and played some songs for all of us. Then he gave his guitar to Katlin so she could play and he took the time to show her what the different knobs etc were for and offered to teach her to play Mary had a little lamb. But she had much more fun just strumming it and imatating what she saw him do when he was playing. She then told us all that she loves Devin and wants to know how long she has to wait til she can marry him. Devin said she had to finish school and go to college so she'd be at least 21 by then, and his mom added by then Devin will be old and yucky and you wont want to marry him! Katlin has not yet been detered from her goal and says she plans to marry Devin!!
On Sunday we went to Uncle Mike & Aunt Sandys house and spent the afternoon just hanging out with them and had dinner. The girls just LOVED playing with Bruno and Misty. I got some good photos of Bruno but not Misty (she didnt sit still long enough.
We came back home to daddy and our puppies on Monday morning. It was a very nice visit.

Here is one of Keira and Bruno. Unfortunately from the angle you cant see that Keira is holding one of her little pink princess tea cups. She kept sharing her tea with Bruno and he I'm sure kept wondering why she kept trying to give him an empty cup!!

Lastly here is the big lug trying to get a nap in after all the excitement with the girls.
